What is Now Foods Almond Oil?
Now Foods Sweet Almond Oil is extracted from the ripe fruit of the almond tree (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis). Since the almond of this almond tree species has a sweet taste , the almonds are called sweet almonds.
The almond tree originated in Central and Western Asia, but is now also native to Australia, California and other subtropical regions. It can even be found in Central Europe , where it is cultivated in wine-growing regions[1].
