One softgel contains a dosage of 700 mg linseed oil, 150 mg evening primrose oil, 130 mg rapeseed oil, 10 mg blackcurrant oil and 10 mg pumpkin seed oil.     Omega-3 fatty acids are known to be found in fish and marine animals. However, vegetable oils also contain valuable omega fatty acids.[1] Now Foods made use of this knowledge and developed the formula for Now Foods Omega 3-6-9.

    Now Foods Omega 3-6-9 is a blend of flaxseed, evening primrose, rapeseed, blackcurrant and pumpkin seed oils. These popular nutritional oils contain high levels of alpha-linolenic acid (abbreviated ALA), linoleic acid and gamma-linoleic acid[2][3][4] .

    Now Foods Omega 3-6-9 capsules provide a balanced ratio of omega 3, omega 6 and omega 9. You can obtain the following naturally occurring amounts of polyunsaturated fats and monounsaturated fats per dosage :

    • Omega-3 [alpha-linolenic acid (ALA)] 45%
    • Omega-6 [linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA)] 26.5%
    • Omega-9 [oleic acid] 17.5%
    • Others (short-chain fatty acids, saturated fats, phospholipids, etc.) 11%
